innovatiQ - formerly known as German RepRap GmbH - has been part of the Arburg Group since 2020. The company has been developing 3D printers in the field of Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) in Feldkirchen near Munich for more than ten years. In 2018, innovatiQ invented Liquid Additive Manufacturing (LAM). This unique LiQ320 silicone 3D printer enables additive manufacturing of components made of silicone.

3D printers have been used in the dental industry for several years. These are mainly stereolithography (SLA), the Digital Light Processing (DLP) printing process and others. In this process, synthetic resin is used, chemicals are handled, and personnel are exposed to toxic fumes. Long-term adverse health effects are suspected. The effects of the substances released in the patient's mouth are still poorly understood.

LUZERNER NEWSPAPER team in our office

On Monday, 10.10.2022, we received a visit from a team of the Luzerner Zeitung in our office. Our CEO and power woman, Evelyn Kiepas was allowed to introduce the start-up company AMTec Swiss and present the 3D printers on display in action.
